PhD Scholarships

Scholarships for PhD study directly linked to LARC projects
SMU's collaboration with CMU through LARC includes a special PhD overseas training residency. Selected PhD students from SMU will spend up to 10 months at Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania campus under the supervision of CMU faculty who are working on LARC projects, and also co-supervised by their SIS faculty advisors.

All SMU PhD students are eligible to apply for this LARC overseas PhD training residency if they are working on LARC projects as an integral part of their PhD study, and if they meet other selection criteria.

Most of the SMU PhD students selected for the LARC overseas PhD training residency at CMU will be those enrolled in the School of Information Systems programme whose PhD studies are directly linked to LARC projects.
